About Me

David Stebbings
AssocRICS | DipRSV | RICS Registered Valuer

I'm a residential surveyor regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), providing surveys and valuation services across East Sussex, including Eastbourne, Lewes, Seaford, Uckfield, Brighton & Hove, and the surrounding areas.

Before founding Stebbings Surveying, I spent 12 years serving in the British Army, where I trained as a Sniper and achieved the rank of Corporal. In 2022, I made the decision to retrain as a surveyor to spend more time with family and friends, and to pursue my long-standing passion for property and construction.

My background in the building trades and the discipline gained through military service form the foundation of my approach: attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication.

I focus on delivering thorough, tailored reports in plain English, so that my clients fully understand their property and can make confident decisions. I'm always happy to answer questions before or after the survey, I believe in offering a personal, accessible service every step of the way.

Based in Polegate, I cover all of East Sussex, including:
Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, Seaford, Lewes, Uckfield, Peacehaven, Newhaven, and Brighton & Hove.
