Drone Roof Surveys in East Sussex
High-Definition Aerial Inspections for Hard-to-Reach Areas
Using drone technology, I can safely and efficiently inspect areas that are otherwise difficult or unsafe to access—especially roofs, chimneys, valleys, leadwork, and other high-level features. Aerial images provide a much clearer view than ground-level inspections, allowing me to identify defects, damage, and deterioration with greater accuracy.
Whether it’s part of a Level 2 or Level 3 Home Survey, or a standalone inspection, drone footage helps provide a complete picture of your property's condition.
Benefits of Drone Surveys:
- Access hard-to-reach areas safely without scaffolding or ladders
- High-resolution images and video for detailed analysis and reporting
- Ideal for inspecting chimneys, flat roofs, pitched roofs, flashing, and guttering
- Helps uncover issues like cracked tiles, pooling water, moss build-up, and blocked outlets
- Faster, safer, and more cost-effective than traditional access methods
- Included at no extra cost when relevant to your survey
Equipment and Conditions
I currently use a DJI Mavic Air, a compact but powerful drone that captures sharp aerial imagery even in tight or elevated locations.
Please note: Drone surveys are subject to weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and physical site obstacles. I’ll always assess feasibility beforehand.
Why Use a Drone Survey?
- Enhances the accuracy of your property report
- Avoids costly assumptions about inaccessible areas
- Supports informed decision-making when buying or maintaining property
- Adds valuable evidence for negotiations or remedial work
